Ankit Gupta

Ankit Gupta (They/Them) is a queer feminist and sex worker activist dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for marginalized communities, including queer and trans people and sex workers. As the Manager for Movement-Led Approach at Global Fund for Women, Ankit collaborates with funders and grassroots movements to support self-led initiatives, with a particular focus on the Global South.

Ankit is a member of the International Steering Committee of the Red Umbrella Fund, advocating for the rights of sex workers worldwide. They previously served as a member of the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (YCSRR) and on the Board of Directors of the Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) – USA. Additionally, Ankit contributed to global SRHR policy development as part of the Advisory Group to The Guttmacher-Lancet Commission on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

Through their work, Ankit strives to build intersectional solidarity and ensure meaningful representation of marginalized voices in philanthropic and advocacy spaces.
