Cindy Amaiza

Cindy Amaiza is a transformative youth leader with over 8 years of experience in youth health programming, focusing on HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender equality. She excels in building and motivating high-performing teams to deliver sustainable health impact for adolescents and young people. Her exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills have enabled her to conceptualize and implement effective and innovative programs that have spotlighted her as a passionate and results-oriented leader in youth programming.

Currently serving as the HER Voice Fund Coordinator at Y+ Global, Cindy oversees the fund’s implementation, ensuring AGYW are ethically and meaningfully engaged in decision-making processes that directly affect their lives. Her work involves managing the grant portfolios, amplifying the advocacy work of HER Voice Ambassadors, and leading strategic communications with donors and youth networks.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Nairobi and is completing her Master of Public Health at AMREF International University.
