Stephen hicks
Stephen Hicks has been a public health advocate for more than 11 years focusing on sexual health and harm reduction. He is the HIV Prevention Implementation Specialist at the STD/HIV Prevention Training Center at Johns Hopkins. He has served as a Narrative Justice Fellow at the Counter Narrative Project, as well as a Global Health Corps Fellow at HIPS and a research assistant at The George Washington University. He serves as a consultant for Red Hot, the not-for-profit record label which has released classic compilation albums such as Red Hot + Blue, Red Hot + Rio, and more than 20 additional projects. He is a writer with bylines in TheBody, TheBodyPro, Huffington Post, Architect Magazine, and VICE. He has a MPH from George Mason University and a B.S. in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.
